Kourtney Jason
Kourtney Jason is the president and co-founder of Pacific & Court. With more than 13 years experience as a publicist, she has worked with and represented celebrities, world-renowned chefs, and bestselling authors. She led the in-house publicity departments at Ulysses Press and Time Inc. Books, and further honed her strategic communications skills at Bread & Butter and Smith Publicity agencies. Since its launch in 2021, P&C’s publisher clients have included Ulysses Press, KeyPress Publishing, Jesse B. Creative, The Collective Book Studio, Rocky Nook, Dzanc Books, and more. She’s secured coverage for clients in top-tier national media that includes the TODAY show, Associated Press, People magazine, NPR, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, CNN, Oprah Daily, Salon, Reader’s Digest, and much more. Her past work includes high-profile authors such as country music icon Martina McBride, actress Valerie Bertinelli, chef Todd Richards, TODAY’s Siri Daly, New York Times bestselling authors Syd and Shea McGee (of Studio McGee) among others. She is the author of five non-fiction books, including Lights Camera Booze: Drinking Games for Your Favorite Movies, which was included in the Academy Awards swag bags. She lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Paris Norman
Paris Norman
Paris Norman is the digital marketing coordinator at Pacific & Court. With three undergraduate degrees in History, French, and Black World Studies from Ohio Wesleyan University, Paris has extensive experience in research and data analysis. She uses her professional and personal experience working in libraries and bookstores to help authors reach their target audiences. Her love of reading inspired her to pursue a career in book publishing. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Bridget Thoreson
Bridget Thoreson is the vice president of operations at Ulysses Press, an independent publishing house focusing on creative data-driven nonfiction. She holds a BA from Fordham University in Journalism and Sociology and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business. Bridget spent eight years volunteering with New York Women in Communications, founders of the MATRIX Awards, and 3 years sitting on their executive board. She has written three nonfiction pop culture books, XOXO, A Cocktail Book, USA Today bestseller The Unofficial Hocus Pocus Cookbook and The Unofficial Hocus Pocus Cookbook for Kids.

Casie Vogel
Casie Vogel is the vice president and publisher at the independent publishing house Ulysses Press. A seasoned editorial leader, Casie specializes in research and development of unique content and products backed by data. Her trade publishing experience spans across nonfiction genres including pop culture, culinary, education, business and management, licensing, and more. Casie’s acquisition highlights include CATAN®: The Official Cookbook, Grammy-nominated Jhene Aiko’s 2Fish: (a poetry book), Cry Baby Coloring Book by singer-songwriter Melanie Martinez, and The Growth Mindset Coach. Prior to her current role at Ulysses Press, Casie acquired business books for McGraw-Hill and Palgrave Macmillan. She lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Keith Riegert
Keith Riegert is the chief executive officer of the independent publishing house, Ulysses Press, and teaches Analytics and Consumer Insights at NYU’s School of Professional Studies in the Center for Publishing. Keith holds a BA in English literature from the University of California Santa Barbara and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business with a specialization in statistics and marketing. Prior to his current role at Ulysses Press, Keith was Associate Director of Analytics for Hachette Book Group.
